Security Systems Supervisor Description
Our client is an established provider of electronic security solutions with a growing presence throughout the Midwest. They’re looking for a hands-on leader to oversee their installation team. While a strong technical foundation is important, they’re open to candidates from a variety of technical environments who have the mindset to lead, the aptitude to learn a new industry, and a genuine interest in improving processes and bringing out the best in their team. This is an opportunity to step into a team where there is room to make an impact, with autonomy to improve operations. This is not a role where you’ll be behind a desk all day. Roughly 70% of your time will be spent in the field. While there may be times when you step in to provide technical support, the focus is on overall operational success, setting priorities, and driving individual and team performance. If there are gaps in your technical knowledge, you’ll have access to structured training as you build familiarity with their services and technology.

Security Systems Supervisor Responsibilities
• Lead the installation team while partnering closely with service and operations teams
• Hire and onboard team members while supporting ongoing training and development
• Manage project backlog, set priorities, and keep installation work moving forward
• Coach technicians and hold the team accountable for performance
• Enforce branch procedures, safety standards, and operational best practices
• Partner with Sales on system requirements, installation feasibility, and technical solutions
• Visit customer sites to support technicians, resolve issues, and maintain installation quality
• Help improve installation and service processes to increase efficiency
• Manage equipment, vehicle, and inventory needs to support efficient field operations
• Review work and job costs to support accurate billing, revenue, and location profitability
Security Systems Supervisor Qualifications
• Strong technical aptitude with electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems
• Experience working in a technical, project-based, or service environment
• Prior leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead and develop others
• 60–70% field-based throughout the Madison & Milwaukee areas; no overnights
