Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 CAN + Benefits

Typical Hours: Monday-Friday, 1st shift (7 am-4 pm or 8 am-5 pm); no weekends

Warehouse Operations Lead Description
Our client in industrial distribution is looking for a Warehouse Operations Lead to help run a new distribution facility in Lethbridge, Alberta. You will lead a two-person warehouse while remaining hands-on with receiving, inventory, shipping, order fulfillment, and occasional customer deliveries. This is a working leadership role, so you will set priorities while performing similar day-to-day warehouse work alongside your direct report. To be considered, you must have warehouse leadership experience, hands-on ERP experience, and a valid driver's license. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a new facility while following established processes from a growing organization expanding its Canadian operations to better serve the increasing needs of their customer base.
Warehouse Operations Lead Responsibilities
• Lead daily operations for a two-person warehouse and set work priorities
• Pick, pack, receive, label, allocate, and ship customer orders
• Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and ERP transactions
• Operate a forklift and offload inbound truckloads safely
• Maintain warehouse layout, equipment, and safe work practices
• Train your direct report on SOPs, ERP workflows, and daily processes
• Manage day-to-day supervision and disciplinary matters for one direct report
• Cover local customer deliveries and bin-stocking needs as required
• Serve customers professionally during delivery and stocking visits
• Help launch the facility using established warehouse processes and SOPs
Warehouse Operations Lead Qualifications
• Hands-on shipping, receiving, inventory, or warehouse experience required
• Leadership (lead, supervisory or management) experience required
• Proficiency with computers, and an ERP, WMS, or inventory software required
• Ability to perform physical warehouse work and lift up to 50 lbs required
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to operate or obtain certification to operate a forklift required
