Electrical Service Technician – Electronic Systems Description
Our client is an established provider of electronic security solutions with multiple locations throughout the Midwest. They are looking to add Service Technicians to support customer and project sites throughout the greater Madison area. Most travel is within 90 minutes of the Madison area, with technicians returning home every night. For those currently working in regional service roles with overnight travel, this is a great opportunity to get back to a more predictable schedule without giving up field work. They are open to candidates from a variety of technical backgrounds, including electrical, mechanical, electronics, IT networking, or even construction. The ideal person enjoys figuring out how things work, troubleshooting, and working with their hands. This is a field-based role for someone who likes to stay active and doesn't want to spend all day behind a desk. Our client also offers a competency-based training and pay progression program, with opportunities for pay increases twice a year as technicians develop their skills and expand their technical knowledge. Technicians who continue building their capabilities can work their way into the mid-to-high $30s per hour within 3-5 years.
