Warehouse Manager Description
Our client, an established and growing consumer wholesale distributor, is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead its Edison, NJ, operation and a team of approximately 25 employees. You’ll oversee receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping while driving productivity, accuracy, and process improvements. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, with proven experience leading a high-SKU warehouse operation and building strong teams. Warehouse Manager Responsibilities
• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping
• Manage, coach, and develop warehouse team (~25 employees)
• Establish clear expectations and accountability
• Maintain a strong presence on the warehouse floor and proactively address operational issues
• Implement improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity
• Develop and maintain warehouse procedures, standards, and SOPs
• Monitor inventory accuracy and reduce discrepancies, picking errors, and shipping issues
• Coordinate staffing and workflow based on order volume and operational priorities
• Track key performance metrics and use data to drive continuous improvement
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
Warehouse Manager Qualifications
• 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or operations experience required
• Management experience with responsibility for hiring, discipline, and termination required
• Bilingual verbal fluency in English and Spanish required
• Experience managing high-SKU warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, fulfillment, picking/packing, and shipping required
• Proven success improving warehouse processes, productivity, and efficiency required
• Experience managing international shipping and freight logistics required
